Think grandmas homemade cinnamon spiced apple pie — in a mug. This smoothie is delicious, it's got all the good stuff that the apples compliment, plus some wonderful immune boosting goodies to help fight those little rascaly bugs during winter. It really does feel like a "hug in a mug".
The sweetness comes mainly from the dates, you can add more or less depending on how sweet you like things — you could take them out entirely if you wanted. This little guy is going to provide you with a boost of energy and focus, with the added benefit of helping circulation and support the immune system while it works its magic. Perfect for the winter mornings here in Melbourne. And if you're allergic to nuts, don't panic, just remove them!

A Hug in a Mug! — Said everyone, everywhere.

WARNING! Be careful to let the mixture cool to almost room temperature before you blend them, as pressure could build up and the blender could explode and cause serious injury.
